Structural Damage Inspection and Assessment Services
Pepper and Associates, Inc. can inspect and assess your fire, flood or wind
damaged related residential or commercial building property. Our on-site
inspections are performed by Louisiana Registered Professional Civil/Structural
Engineers and/or Louisiana Registered Professional Land Surveyors.
- Walk-through inspection services consist of a limited visual inspection,
conducted by a Louisiana Licensed Registered Professional Civil/Structural
Engineer. One (1) copy of the completed Engineer’s checklist and certificate
of inspection is furnished at the time of inspection. No photographs are
provided with the Engineer’s inspection checklist and certificate.
- Structural inspection report services consists of a detailed, top to
bottom structural investigation of the structure, conducted by a Louisiana
Licensed Registered Professional Civil/Structural Engineer. Two (2) copies
of the completed Engineer’s Inspection Report, including full-page color
photographs are provided. The Engineer’s structural inspection report
identifies any observed structural and non-structural damage, probable
causation, and any general recommendations for required repairs. Detailed
engineering plans/specifications for repairs are not provided.
Typically, structural inspection reports are completed within two to four
weeks of the inspection, depending on structure size, damage, and
complexity.
- Concrete and slab integrity inspection services consist of a thorough
survey and evaluation of the condition of the existing concrete foundation
slab, walk, drive, or paving, utilizing state of the art non-destructive
testing and evaluation equipment.
